Watercolor “en Plein Aire”
by Paul Bourgault
Watercolor has always been my favorite medium. As an graphic designer in Southern California for 25 years I rendered concepts and presentations with magic markers which I often refer to as “watercolors on a stick”.
Since moving to Lane County 20 years ago I’ve continued my love affair with watercolor. I particularly enjoy painting “en plein aire” – outdoors on location. There are a few studio painting in this group painted from photos but most were painted en plain aire.
Enjoy. And thanks for coming to New Zone.
