India Lily

Drawing has been a constant in my life, but it was only through the experience of profound grief that my art
became truly personal and visceral. Guided by my beloved therapist, I discovered the solace that comes from
sharing our stories and recognizing ourselves in one another. This understanding gave me the courage to present my
work publicly, even as vulnerability remains a challenge.

The act of sharing my art has brought unexpected support and encouragement, helping me realize how isolating life
once felt. Art is my lifeline—it nourishes my soul. Yet, the greatest gift has been the connection with viewers who
see their own experiences reflected in my work. My hope is that, within these pieces, others find comfort and the
reassurance that they are not alone.
