Julia Middleton

Julia is an artist that was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2024, Julia rediscovered her passion for art while taking botanical art and watercolor classes through the Eugene Rec. While she has always had a love for creating art, she only began showing her work in galleries in 2025. She works primarily in ink and watercolor and takes inspiration from all kinds of plants, animals, and insects. Julia regularly enjoys taking hikes and nature walks, applying her observations of local wildlife to her work. She aims for each of her pieces to convey a balance of realism and whimsy, and she aspires to continue exploring a variety of different mediums and styles as she develops her work as an artist.
