Empowered by a lifelong passion for fiber art,I've cultivated a unique voice that blends traditional techniques with innovative spirit. My journey began in 1980 at Belknap Hot Springs, where I discovered the art of basket-weaving. This initial spark ignited a lasting passion, driving me to experiment with local fibers, natural dyes, and weaving techniques. A pivotal moment came in 1983 when I learned to coil with pine needles, a skill that has since become a hallmark of my work. With over 30 years of teaching experience, I'm dedicated to inspiring others and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. My goal is to create pieces that not only inspire awe but also foster a deeper connection with the natural world.
