Having been born on a farm in northern Wisconsin, my connection to Mother Earth has always been key to who I am. The bliss of summer warmth and fruitful bounty transform into the magic of melting ice crystals licking the snowbanks of winter.
Mother Earth gives us inspiration to feed our souls as well as feeding our bodies. In 2011 I took classes in oil and acrylic painting. I began my quest to share my voice through art. In 2016 I began “The Colors of Climate Change”, researching the environmental status of Mother Earth. I encourage you to look carefully at the map and key, examining how Mother Earth is doing. I also encourage you to enjoy my images of Mother Earth’s breathtaking creations, enjoying them as much as I have enjoyed creating them. Carol Petty [email protected] |
