About the Artist |
"Welcome to my wonderful adventure as I've captured on canvas what the other side looks like. Some of my work has no description and so what you see is the medium moving of its own accord. I believe that's what makes us human and is what we live for each day amidst the mundane. I've picked up the paint after many years of living mostly in the mundane, and find that my journey leads me to touch upon so many lives. And so, my desire is that you would discover a sense of peace or whatever it is that you are searching for in the art that you choose to bring into your home. |
"And now, I will advocate for the local artists. We are people who live amongst you. We have much to share, especially thought for change. I would ask that you would support your local artists by purchasing a piece, and you will have something long-standing, and it may be passed on to others. If you do so, you may be an advocate for change as well and enjoy a time each day in your home where your life will be touched by another's heart work.
"A little housekeeping: I work mostly with acrylic, felt-tip pens, and ink. I create digital photos as well. In my study of digital art I have discovered a link to the Masters who put on canvas the darks and lights first and then laid down color. Modern artists use this technique as well. In some way I become connected to the Masters by photography. In this I found a particular understanding of time, place and connection with the ancient ones.
