A Little Bit About Me
After roaming the U.S. in search of myself, I found myself at Frostburg St. College. Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of western Maryland, I took my first painting class and my passion for painting began. While the natural beauty of the Frostburg fostered my vision, it is the Northwest that gave me roots.
My wanderlust began again until I settled in Eugene in 1980.The lushness of the Northwest and the community of Eugene gave my work a new edge with the beauty and strength of nature and the feminine signature elements of my work.
Art making is my prayer in motion, a sacred dance I loose myself in. The organic form and the intimacy of the feminine intertwine with color and movement to create the sacredness of their spirit.
